I’ve recently changed companies, and one of my side duties has been to organize our tape library. I have gotten custom-made barcodes for all our tapes, now I need a way to keep them organized in a database. At a previous company, I used Xytech’s library functions, which were ok if a little chunky. This time around, I don’t need the overarching scheduling and resource management of Xytech, just a means to store tape library information.

Any suggestions out there? Cheaper the better (of course.) Something online would be a plus, so that any computer could access it, and the database wasn’t at the mercy of local hard drives and backups.

Thanks in advance, and apologies if this isn’t exactly the right forum for this question.

I’m giving this a bump, just in case. Seriously, any suggestion would be truly appreciated. The only software I’ve found in extensive searches online seems to be either from 1994 or designed for someone’s home DVD collection.
