Video lags too much
Hello friends i am learning primer pro in my institute. When i use to import a video its take too much time to import and when video(mostly avi) is imported there is a error reporting that “file importer detected an inconsistency in file structure filename.file extinction. Reading and writing this file’s metadata (xmp) has been disabled” and after that when i added it to timeline and play, audio and video both lags too much, some time video plays quit smother but audio lags behind video i cant play it. And same import video it is imported in lesser time with no error reports and video is played very smoothly in the institutes having computer which is have lower configuration then my home pc.
My system spes are
Intel pentium d 3.0 ghz ,4 GB DDR2 RAM , 660 GB Hard Disk(500+160), internal graphics card gma x4500 with 1294 mb of video memory nad win 7 ultimateMy institutes PC specs are

it is a movie in avi format frame size 688×284 size 701 mb
if the size of video is less than 100 mb then also it lags -
Very odd video resolution!
You should try making custom Desktop Sequence Settings to match the properties of your video. You will need the codec info…get free Gspot to do that.
