Video is way too fast and Audio is normal speed
If I preview a video in windows media player, itunes, etc., the playback is normal, just as recorded. However, once I render it or “Make Movie” in Sony Vegas 8.0 Platinum, the Video is super fast and way out of sync with the Audio.
I’ve tried it with many different short clips and it is always the same. I thought it might be a strange setting I accidently set and even uninstalled and reinstalled the program. Same issue.
I’ve gone to the Properties menu and tried to match the media, no luck. Ive slowed frame rates, no luck. I’ve tried different templates when rendering, no luck.
I’m a beginner and still wet behind the ears. I really hope someone can help me with this because I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere.

Right click on the video event and select Properties.

Oh my. I was going to suggest the ‘Rate’ settings down the bottom left, but they alter the audio and video.
