Video is right aspect but small?
Ok – I thought I understood this. I have a 16:9 video that when I render, I’m using my standard settings for DVD wide screen. However, when it renders and on DVD, it is the right aspect ratio but very small .. it does not extend to the sides of a regular old TV even. I’ve double checked settings and everything looks right. Any ideas here?

How does your video look within the Preview window? also with black borders everywhere?
Did you try the “no black bands” (or whatever it is called in English version of Vegas) option in the render settings? (as far as I remember, it only applies to some output formats).
This problem may come from so many things, it would help to post your .VEG file.
