    Hi all!
Which is the best way to “save” a video that is burned from too much light?
The cameraman is an amateur and where there is white in the footage it is burned.

    Please help!

    Thanx in advance!

You could always doctor it up as an effect. Go B&W or add a diffusion plug-in.

    WOW very fast answers!
    Thank you all.
Unfortunatelly reshooting which would be the best, is out of the question.
So is the B&W and Diffuse cause its in the whole duration almost 50mins.

I will try the Shanes plugin and the 3way color correction and i wish that it would be better.

    Thank you all!

If it is only the sky blown out, you can key it out and add a wholly new one.

    That would be easy!
Its a wedding, and everything WHITE including the bride:) is burned out!!!
I made it look much better with 3 color correction.
Captains plugin is great but in this case not of so much help.
    Thanx all!

    Damn amateur wedding videographers.

The video term is “BLOWN” out.

    Sorry for my english Steve.
What matters is that the others got the meaning and were very helpful.
    Thanks for pointing it out.
