Video freezing while in TRIM mode
Whenever I go into trim mode, the video freezes. I can hear the audio but the video just sits on a freeze frame. When I exit trim mode everything returns to normal. In other words – I can hear the audio but cannot see the video while I am in trim mode. This has been happening to me for a while, but used to only occur after I trimmed the same cut more than 2-3 times. Now it happens from the very first time I try to trim. Any ideas?
I am running the latest release: 2015.1, 9.1.0 (174) Build

I figured out a workaround. By going to “Preferences>Playback>Video devices” and turning off my external monitor I was able to get trimming to work on my desktop.

Try turning off Composite Preview During Trim under the wrench in the timeline.

“Turning off Composite Preview During Trim” was the first thing I tried. It did not work. Turning off my external view worked. I use Blackmagic and tried updating to their latest drivers but it did not change it.
