  • Video exported from Premier is bad quality in After Effects

    Hi,

I have taken some screen recordings and then edited them in Adobe Premier, I then exported the video from premier and put it into After Effects to add some simple camera moments.

When I export from After Effects the video is very bad quality, but when I import the source videos into After Effects and skip the Premier editing the quality is perfect.

I’ve tried several codecs and settings including the lossless ones but nothing seems to affect it.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Tom

Which codecs have you tried? Have you tried Quicktime Animation at 100% quality?

What version of Premiere/After Effects are you using? You may be able to simply copy/paste the clips from your Premiere Timeline directly into an After Effects timeline–skipping the render step–yet retaining all of your Premiere edits.
