Today i was flirting with the video effects and i noticed ‘Blur & Sharpen’ section. Idea of these effects is obviously to add mist and wetness to them. And I was wondering if the total left effect of this exists, which is pristine clear picture if possible and if it does, what is it. Or do i need a plug in for it?

If you mean sharpen, you probably will have to look at After Effects.

The other possible effect is noise removal, and that’s an option in your export settings in Premiere.

Cons: Sharpen will actually ADD noise.

Noise removal can make render times unbearable.

Noise removal? I’ve searched that in my effects tab but does not pop up.

CS3 has a noise removal filter in one of your export tabs.

In CS4, it was replaced by Gaussian blur.

You can also accomplish this using the channel blur effect. Noise is usually more prominent in the blue channel, so that’s where you would probably start to apply blur.

Look at Red Giant, as well as Boris for 3rd party plugins.
