Video dropouts on external monitor
When playing off the timeline to an external monitor (hooked up via firewire through a Sony DSR-25 deck) I keep getting complete video signal dropouts that last about 6 seconds, then the video returns to normal. It does this about every 45 seconds of playback. The preview window within Vegas does not do this. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Thanks.

I recently got a new HP computer with Vista and have my Vegas 5.0d loaded on it. I am getting this same problem – dropouts on the external monitor every twenty seconds or so. I’ve never had this problem on my other computers. All Vegas settings the same as far as I know. Anyone have any ideas?
