Video conversion help needed
Hello,
A while back I shot a show with 4 cameras ISO to DVCProHD. One of the disks had an incorrect codec RawDv. It comes out as colored pixles in the viewer. I found a product MainConcept Reference that can see the RawDv file and transcode it to H264 quicktime compliant formats. However, the only one that seems to work is mpeg4. When I encode a 1.7 gig file it reduces it to 122meg and the quality, although fairly good suffers in comparison to the original files.Does someone know of a program that will give me better results. Or can take the DvcProHD file to a quicktime compliant HD file?
One other thing, I don’t understan why Windows Media can see this file properly and Quicktime cannot.
Thanks for your advice.
