    Video card problem?

    I am a newbie to Avid HD. I tried to capture footage from my Canon HD camcorder but could not see it. I could hear it ok. After capture, I could scroll and see the footage, but hitting play just gives me a freeze. The audio plays fine, however. A friend suggested it might be the video card. I have an Nvidea Ge Force 5200. Any thoughts??

    There is no doubt that it is the video card but you could try different drivers that may resolve the problem.
