I just upgraded to Premiere Pro 2.0 and lo and behold, I am inforrmed that my old Matrox 550 card will not suffice. What are you guys using for a video card that will support two monitors and take advantage of Premiere Pro 2.0 (Dont want to spend a fortune)

    Nancy:

I too upgraded recently and went with a nVidia 6800 GT in spite of the fact that Adobe suggested (among others) a nVidia 6800 Ultra. The GT works just fine and is quite a bit less than the Ultra.

I think any newer nVidia card that support Shader Model 3.0 would be best to take advantage of GPU rendering acceleration (e.g. 6600 GT, 6800, 6800 GT, 6800 Ultra, 7800 GT or GTX).
