February 21, 2009 at 5:46 pmI use the extra VGA output on my laptop. Any video that supports 1360 x 768 or 1920 x 1080 will work. Danny Hays

February 22, 2009 at 3:47 amHi I do same as Danny. Only on my Mac Book Pro it’s a DVI port. I recently bought 2 Samsung 21.5″ 2233sw monitors. 1 is connected to my laptop and works great. I can set dual monitors if I want but right now I have the external mirror the laptop.

February 22, 2009 at 4:20 pmI tried a dual head ATI card in a desktop and it did not work well. Also, I find displaying video on computer monitors does not look quite right. Thanks for your replies.

February 22, 2009 at 6:02 pmI am just now testing the built-in HDMI out of the new mother board in a new edit system that I just built. This is sent to a 19″ Wide inexpensive LCD computer monitor recently purchased. Getting the signal out is a Bios thing. Will post the result.

February 22, 2009 at 6:21 pmBob, I have ATI cards in my laptop and work desktop and both work great. The look you don’t like maybe the interlacing. Try setting your project properties to, Filed order – None Progressive scan, and Deinterlace method to blend fields and see what you think. Dany Hays
