    Hello,
I’m running on a G5, FCP 4.5HD, mac osx 10.3.9 with decklink HD pro and i’m having some problems with picture.
The quality on some shots using blackmagic 10bit looks like sh*t…. especially on movement. There’s some breakup and interlacing problems that I just can’t put a finger on. We can correct the problems by using FCP deinterlace and deflickering effects but i’m really concerned about why the images look so bad. Is it a FCP problem? 10.3.9 problem? decklink probelm? any thoughts would be great.

    thanks
    mark

    Hi Mark,

We do recommend against using Mac OS X 10.3.9 and suggest using Mac OS X 10.3.8. Having said that, I will be surprised if that is the explanation to your problems.
