Video blend mode not working
Hey
Im trying to overlay some video clips using the multiply blend mode but its not working, I have tried other bland modes and it seems that none of them are working.
They work for stills and other layer but not for video.
Anyone have any suggestions?

This is really weird, I just did a re-install as well.

I tried adding a adjustment layer to overlay a video and that doe snot work too?
Maybe something to do with my quicktime?

I am having the same problem with AE 7. Weirdly enough I reinstalled Windows XP and Producution Studio recently as well.. I can’t get blending modes to work with stills nor video. Not sure if there is a setting I might have enabled on accident to disable blending modes or adjustment layers (don’t know that such a thing exists).

I did a little digging and realized what my issue was. OpenGL only supports certain things during preview and blending modes isn’t one of them, so you may have to toggle fast previews to adaptive resolution and /or disable OpenGL acceleration to view your layer blending modes, also don’t forget there are OpenGL settings under video preview preferences and under advanced composition settings.
