Was wondering is there a way to temporarily bypass track FX (I wish there was) It would be nice to test to see if a shot would work with efx, (like spotlight) the just click bypass to remove the overhead on the cpu while cutting, the click it on before rendering.
Anyway to do this short of removing the FX Plug in? or loading a blank preset?
    Thanks

Right click the track fx icon for a given track and you should see a menu giving options to disable all and enable all fx for that track.

You are my hero! thanks never saw that before and I even Searched the Vegas manual PDF for “FX Bypass” before posting this. ( Only the preview window option came up in that search)
Thanks again, this will really speed things up.

Just click the “Split Screen” button above the preview screen. Check the help – there are lots of options available there.

When in doubt, right click is often your friend.
