VHS plays in color but digitizing in black and white
am using Final Cut Pro to digitize old VHS tapes. The VHS plays on the TV in color but digitizes in black and white. Other tapes have digitized in color but there are some that are only black and white. What can I do to get them to digitize in color? Why does this occur? Thanks for your help !

This can be a function Macrovision copyright off of the VHS. Use the same path to view the tape, but don’t digitize and see if it’s color.
