Hello. I just bought a 7D and I’m trying to set the shutter speed to shoot at 24fps in movie mode. I’ve been watching many tutorials and reading the manual, but the weird thing is that my 7D’s shutter speeds go in increments of 30, 45, 60, 90, 125, 180, etc. But on tutorials, I’ve seen people set setting the shutter speed, and it goes to 40 or 50 or other numbers while turning the dial. My two questions are, is my shutter speed messed up? At least in terms of it not going to the right shutter speeds for shooting in movie mode? And also, I’ve read that 1/48 is a good speed to shoot a normal looking movie image, but yet I can’t get that either. So I’d also love to know what is a good shutter speed to shoot a normal video, nothing special or slo mo, just a normal looking video. Thanks very much.
