I have seen a lot of commercials and such with these sort of graphic streamers that kind of fly all over the place. I should really say they just grow out all over the place and looks kinda nice. How would you achieve this effect? If you did not understand that question, than how can you make lines grow (by grow i mean start at one place and move all over but the start point still stays the same) in after effects.

I know its kind of odd but hope you understand

maybe you are referring the type of effect that can be created with trapcodes 3D stroke? (https://www.trapcode.com/)

I think I know what you mean, if so I’ve been searching for a good explanation on how it works as well.

This is the best example of what I’ve come to call “organic graffiti” I can find. The best suggestion I’ve come across is “gradient wipe”. It definitely creates some interesting effects but I still don’t understand how these crazy designs and vine graphics are painted on the screen.

    My best attempt: https://youtube.com/watch?v=iUuwBgF6V_k

I should start an organic graffiti thread, just in case we’re not talking about the same thing.

You got it man! Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

I still wish there was an easier way 😉
