Vertical Still images – Best way to pan
I have a bunch a vertical JPG files that I want to be positioned on the right side of the window. The default is in the middle but I want to mask off the left side and just display the right side. I am able to do it but it is a bit cumbersome and I don’t know why it works. In the pan of the event, I hold the cntl key down while I stretch. I am able to get it to work but it is confusing. Is there a way to move the picture and not the window into the picture?

Use Track Motion instead. That will also get them all at once.

So, in this case, I would have to keyframe all pictures in this track to get them to align? At first, that doesn’t seem very good but I think it would be easier since I am going to use this as a template for many projects.
Do you know what it actually does when I hold the cntl key down and drag that “F”? This method works but I hate not understanding the reason behind it.

As long as all the images are on the same track, one adjustment to Track Motion and they’ll all move exactly the same. Now if the images are all different sizes to begin with, you may need to do individual adjustments via Pan/Crop.
