  • velocity expression for rotation – simple?!

    I’m trying to find a way of having a layer rotate at a certain velocity throughout the comp without setting keyframes.
    Reasoning behind this is that the comp length can change without having to go back and change the keyframes.

    Is there some way of having an expression that reads:

    “velocity= 2 degrees a second clockwise”

    I’m guessing that this is simple but for the life of me couldn’t find a way of getting it to work!

    Many Thanks

    Aled

    Sure:

    vel = 2; //degrees per second
    time*vel
