Vegas won’t show video as preview or in edit box
Hello,
I read some other threads that may have dealt with the same problem I’m having. I’m guessing and hoping that the quick solution is reinstall Vegas 8.0. Unfortunately, I don’t have my disk with me and won’t for another week.
That said, here’s what I’m experiencing:
My Edit screen won’t recognize images. I load some jpg images or avi video into my project screen, then when I try to drag an avi video file up to the edit box, it will show up on the audio track but not the video track. When I drag a jpg image up there, it shows up as just a vertical line, with no image and when I hit play, it doesn’t show up either. I also can’t preview these files in my preview window.
So what do you think? Just reinstall or something else?
I loaded Vegas a long time ago and never used it. it could be a lot of stuff has changed with my laptop since then.

You really don’t need the disc to reinstall…you simply
can download the latest version and use your current serial
number then authorize the new version.
So first reinstall and after if the problem persists, you can
make another post and then we can easily guide you to a
