Vegas, Vista, and Dropped Frames
I recently installed Vegas Platinum on my Dell Dimension 9200 desktop. I am running Vista. This PC has an Intel Dual Core Processor running at 1.86 MHz, and 1 meg of RAM. When I import video from any camera (typically a Canon ZR500) Vegas dropped frames making editing impossible. Any ideas out there?

I use WinXP and it works all right. I have heard of a lot of bugs in Vista that impede performance and functions. Since I don’t actually have Vista, I can’t give you any definite answer, but I would suggest seeing if microsoft has any updates of fixes for Vista (they should be coming out with a lot of them because of all the bug, so if there aren’t any now there should be some soon).
