I have a question about transferring data from Vegas Pro 9 to 8.
Is there a good way to get the data created by vegas 9 to vegas 8?
Partial data will have to do, if not all, but what data will I be missing?
I tried exporting and importing via EDL format but the gain information seems to dissapear.
Any1 know of a better way to do this?

Thank you guys in advance 😉

Why would you like to go back to Vegas 8?

And would an intermediate avi file be sufficient for what you want?

Try saving as an Edit Protocol Compliant AAF File. That might have the best chance of keeping most of the project.

    thanx for your quick response.

the reason I need to downgrade the software is because our client uses version 9, but we’re still on 8. and we also need to have the
projects editable after we recieve them.

    but, hey, thanx anyways 🙂
