Vegas Pro 8.0 Video Preview & Saving
I downloaded Sony Vegas Pro 8.0 a couple of days ago and began the tutorials to learn how to use it. The only problem is, I cannot actually view the video clips in the video preview when I add them to the timeline. I can hear the audio that goes with it however.
I can view the clips when I have them in the ‘Trimmer’, ‘Explorer’ and ‘Project Media’ section and they work fine. I’ve tried all sorts of file types and I still get the same problem. I tried editing the clips anyway, then saving them to veiw on Windows Media Player, but it just comes up with a black screen and the audio.
I don’t have a clue what is going on here, does anyone have any advice?

Sounds like you have given Preview Focus to the Trimmer. Click the Preview Monitor in the Trimmer, and that should get you back your Timeline Preview.
