Vegas Pro 18 Crashing with Canon C70 Files
Art Varga
February 10, 2021 at 3:12 amI’m getting immediate crashes trying to import files from my C70. I haven’t tested with all record modes but the ones that are crashing are 4K XF-AVC422 10 bit. Other users on the Vegas Creative Community board have reported the same. Anyone experiencing this? One user posted below believing it to be a Canon issue.

Confirmed this.
The media is detected as XAVC-L type, and read using mxfxavc.dll – but I guess it’s not the same to Sony’s XAVC-L type.
