What’s the difference is between Vegas pro 17 and Vegas Edit.
I see where they have a “sale” which looks like the pro version is $199 but then when I get to their website it is misleading and says “Vegas Pro 17 from $199”. It’s either $199 or not but “from $199” makes no sense if their offering the pro version.
    Any advice?
    Thanks

I can’t answer your question directly, but the last time I viewed the webpage, they offered 3 different versions of Vegas pro 17. They have a base model and two other models that offer more “bells and whistles”, but at a higher cost. If you dig around, they provide a side- by-side comparison of the three so you can determine which one best meets your needs.

The (almost only) difference is that VEGAS Pro 17 Edit does not come with VEGAS DVD Architect.

Vegas Pro Edit is the full version of Vegas Pro and is typically $50 less than the next version up

Vegas Pro is the full version of pro + the dvd authoring software and maybe different bonus softwares sometimes

Vegas Pro suite is the full version of pro + several other softwares.
