Vegas Pro 16 Weird text generation issue
I’m having a strange issue when generating text. I can insert the default text or the legacy default text & edit it just fine. But, there is a tiny little word “Text” that remains centered on screen that I can not get rid of. I thought it might be some sort of alignment aid that I didn’t fully understand but when the project is rendered it’s still there. any help would be greatly appreciated.

So if you start a fresh project and drop one of those text generators on your timeline. It says sample text + “text” centered in the middle?

Hi Ryan! Looking awfully closely at that Text Event you have increased its length by pulling the Right Hand Edge. Nothing wrong with that, but we don’t know or can’t see what KeyFrames you’ve still got active within that Event Control. You could have partially deleted the SAMPLE text on One KF. Also, you haven’t set the Text Event to the length you have onscreen. I know this because there are Notches on the Top Edge. It’s always good to do this ????. I’m also assuming you don’t have “another” Track below your Track4 – correct?
