Vegas PRO 15 no longer opens my project, not even backup!!!
I was working very hard on a particular project that I want to upload and then all of a sudden, WON’T OPEN ANYMORE!! I get the error message “An error occurred while loading the project xxx.veg. The item was not found.” I’ve watched YouTube videos and it didn’t help at all. I tried, I deleted the bak file, was that a mistake? Do I have to work all over from start?!? I sure hope not!!!

As you know, I have Vegas PRO 15, I have an HP laptop running Windows 10.
I am desperately seeking help for this issue. I have one file like that that’s partially completed but the one I’m near completion WON’T OPEN ANYMORE!!!!!!! -
Try going to your recycle bin and retrieving the backup file. Just use that file and remove the. Bak. Hopefully that will work.
