I currently have Vegas Pro 14. I’ve dropped a ProRes 422HQ 4096×3112 file onto the timeline and everything looks fine…the properties automatically reflect the file properties. When I try to render the file out I tried to modify one of the ProRes render profiles to 4096×3112 from 4096×2160 and everytime the profile reverts from 3112 to 2160. I cannot seem to render out as 4K full aperture.

Is there something I’m missing? Does Vegas Pro 16 handle this?

You could download the Avid codec for DNxHR and render to 4096×3112 4:2:2 12 bit, if that is an option. Or, Cineform (GoPro Studio) 10 bit, although that will be HD.

    Best Regards……George

Thanks Geoge. Unfortuantely, I need to keep the format in the original codec.

Still hoping that Vegas will be able to help as I’ve used it since ver 4.
