    Vegas Pro 13 ( win7 x 64 )

Each time I try to adjust the master volume, my mouse becomes stuck on the slider .
Increasing dB of one sound track in order to better hear that sound of that track works in preview ( real-time hearing ) but after rendering , that increase is not applied in the rendered sound.

Seems something basic got really messed-up by introducing new things in vegas pro 13 ( which I am not using ).
The fancy things are killing the basics .

Therefore still using vegas pro 12 , even though having bought the upgrade to 13 when it was released long time ago.

Yes, that’s a bug that Vegas has sometimes and needs to be addressed.
I,ve made it known to them some months now.

    Thanks for the confirmation
Really ashame such important basic function having a serious bug and not being resolved . Instead of adding fancy things most of us do not need nor use , they better concentrate on having the basics working and as steady as versions 4,5,6 and 7.
I would pay for that , not for the fancy things anymore …..

Hope it will addressed in the next update, but kinda doubt it,
One just have to live with the fact that there is NO perfect software,
And Vegas to me comes with far less stress and nonsense than others out there.

    Here’s a workaround:

Press cntrl/alt/6 to access the mixer window. You can then adjust your master levels (or anything else in the master section) without the mouse freezing and continue with your work uninterrupted. Everything functions perfectly from the Mixer window.

Shame on Sony for not correcting this. It’s been almost two years since your post. I just upgraded to 13 and found this workaround through sheer hacking and trial and error. I first encountered it when trying to re-assign my main outputs from the master section on the main timeline. Not how a professional in the industry should be spending his time.

    Here is another possible workaround….

Un-Dock the Master Bus, and it should work.

    Best Regards……George
