    Hello.
I’ve been using Vegas for a while, but have never perfected a workflow as I’ve always just done my own projects. I’m in need a workflow for syncing audio files from a Zoon H4N and QuickTime files. Normally I would do my edit from the QuickTime files using scratch audio and then manually sync audio when finished, but there has to be a better way. I tried out PluralEyes and it seems like it’s going to do what I want, but one clip on the timeline at a time. Thing is, when you sync your clips, what happens then? Can they be saved into the media bin and called back later in sync’d state?

    Thank you.

    Heath,

just put all video clips onto one track and all audio clips onto track below. Plural Eyes syncs every clip.

Thank you. I like pluraleyes. It does an awesome job, but once I’ve done that and the clips are sync’d, is there a way to save them like that without rendering so I can call the sync’d clips back up and begin editing?

You can do this by using a nested project. Just sync the audio and video in a separate project. Then drop that project into your main project as a nested project and it will behave like any other piece of media. You can cut it and stretch it and use it in the trimmer, etc.
