This one is really hard to explain, but this is the second time it has happened.

I’m just cutting a regular track, one video and one audio track. All of a sudden, I notice I’m hearing the same sounds repeatedly.

No matter where I start the playhead from, the audio ALWAYS begins at the same point. It’s kind of hard to explain. Basically, the audio from the very beginning of the video, is the same as the audio in the middle and end. Like some kind of paradox, it begins at all points of the video.

I heard about that happening to someone already, cant
figure out what causes that. Do restarting the system helps?

What format is the media file.. and I guess you have matched the project.

What happens if you split the audio off and copy to another track, muting the first instance?

Also.. have you loaded any third party codecs?

Nothing works, I split the audio from the video, and that worked for like, a minute, and then it went back to looping like before.

I’m editing an MP4 file, and I think the problem is that its a really big one, even though I only have a small portion of it in the time line right now.
