vegas platnuim 8 crashes every time
no ryhme or reason. sometimes as quickly as 15 seconds sometimes after a few minutes, never longer than 10 minutes. I searched the forums and set task manager to high priority. No other video programs installed. I am ready to migrate to another program this is horrible.

Very hard to respond to your post as you give us no idea as to what PC system/configuration you are on, what your project properties are, what file formats you are working with and what sort of workflow you are following. Throw up as much info as you can re these and someone may have some amswers for you. There are thousands of us around the globe working very successfully with Vegas Pro and Vegas Platinum so that must tell you that there are answers out there.
