Vegas performance
Hi
I am having some performance issues on my new work station with Vegas. It is a dual 285 AMD Opteron64 bit system, 8G ram, 2.75 TB storage in RAID 5. When I work with HD footage with, say for example, levels, colour correction and a Magic Bullet Movie Looks grading, my processors sit at 16-25% when rendering.
My playback in Vegas is also well below real time, even with no effects.I am using Raylight to work with Panasonics mxf files.
If anyone can suggest how to optimise Vegas for this workflow, I would really appreciate it, I am sitting with a waste of machine at the mo.

What quality Raylight?
Got antivirus on?
