Vegas on Intel Mac..WOW!
I have heard about and read about Vegas running on Intel based Macs. I finally got to see and experience it for myself. Although my experience so far has been brief it was memorable!
The system was a Mac Pro 2.6 GHz Dual duo core with 2 gig of ram 160 gig internal HD with a partition for Windows supported by Bootcamp.
Bootcamp install was a little tricky…it seems that the mighty mouse can cause a lockup when loading windows on the partition. Once past that, the rest of the windows install was predictably PC like.
Once Vegas was loaded and running, the old style SD rendertest.veg was run and it clocked a rendertime of only 13 seconds!!!AMAZING!
I am waiting to run the HD rendertest to see what it will do for that.
Any other/similar experiences out there? -
