Vegas not rendering to .mov files
I have Vegas 6.0 on XP. I know its arcaic but it still works for me. I have rendered out .mov files before, but now it’s giving me an error. First, it said to make sure there was enough disc space, but I have 130 gbs of free space on my drive. Now, it’s only saying that the file can not be created. and it takes 4 hours to get to 75% complete then justs fails. What is going on? any help would be much appreciated. I have Quicktime 7 installed. Just keeps failing.

I had a similar problem when I first upgraded to Vegas 9. Turned out to be an issue with the main production drive in my machine. I’m still not sure exactly what the issue was(something in QT was having trouble with the file path) but I can encode to other drives on the machine, so all is well for me. Try rendering to a different drive.
