Vegas Movie Studio 16 Platinum – Need add-on for rendering AVC
I just bought a very fast W-10 PC and loaded my licensed and purchased version of Vegas Movie Studio 16. I tried to make and render a movie as AVCHD but it says the selected encode format requires download of an add-on software module. When I click “YES” to proceed it fails and says to try running Vegas as administrator. I tried that and also have full high speed internet via ethernet. There are no other messages other than it failed with code -1. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not fully familiar with the Studio versions, but seeing you bought a fast new PC, i would have recommended you getting the professional Vegas version instead (Vegas Pro), also you wouldn’t have this issue.
What exactly are you selecting in the drop down render options?
