Vegas Lost Capture Capability – I need help.
When I hit the the capture button this shows up immediately.
Can anyone point me in the right direction. I am at a total loss, and unable to get anything done until this is fixed.

First, I would turn off your capture device and unplug it. Then I would re-plug it, then turn it on. Is it being detected by the OS?
If so, I would re-open Vegas, go to capture and see if it now works. If you get the same error message, check under the Video menu (of the video capture windows), you might be able to see the device and set it as the source to capture from.
If still not working, try to capture from another software to see if the problem is with the capture device or with Sony.
