Vegas is cutting off my 30-hour MP3 file

March 7, 2021 at 4:25 pmI have an MP3 file that’s 30 hours long (1.35 GB) and works perfectly fine in Windows Media Player, but when I import it to Sony Vegas, it cuts it down to about 5 hours. I also have some 9-hour MP3s and they work perfectly fine in Vegas–it’s just the 30-hour one that’s giving me grief. I tried re-rendering the 30-hour MP3 and restarting Vegas, but it still doesn’t work. Any idea what’s going on?

March 14, 2021 at 5:30 amI’d suggest that you post a MediaInfo screenshot for both the 9 hr mp3 that’s OK and the 30 hr mp3 that is shortened.

March 15, 2021 at 4:38 pmWe have reproduced this problem and have added a bug into our database for this.
We are hitting a wraparound issue with files of this length. Thank you for reporting this.
