Over the last one and a half days, we live streamed to Twitch . There are 32:24:17 hours of material, an experiment:

Now I downloaded the complete recording and imported it into Vegas Pro 17.0:

Only about 7:20 hours of audio are imported, then repeated in the timeline. The raw material has complete audio.

Is there a fix? Or should I better use another video editor?

Most of the clip is silent, and I want to look at spikes in the audio to see when something happened. Finally, I want to cut the interesting parts.

I make the raw material available for download for at least 24h:

My own fix was to extract the audio to MP3 using ffmpeg, and then import that into the Vegas broken video editor.
