  Vegas Effects preview not previewing

  I have Pro 18 on Windows 10. I’ve been using Vegas Effects Chroma Key. At first, it was working normally, but now the preview window won’t preview. It’s as if View were set to Source in the Chroma Key effect, no matter whether View is actually set to Source, Status, Results, or anything else. My changes to the effect are reflected in Pro, but obviously I need to see them in Effects too. Any ideas how to fix this? (It could easily be some setting I unknowingly changed while exploring the software.)
