Vegas don’t recognize tga files
Hello, I have this rpoblem with sony vegas 6.0
I have like 900 tga image files 2 make movie, but problem is that although when i press import media, i can see them there as media files, but when i click on first file once it says File type:unknown, when i click twice to start and open it this message pop up
Warning: an error occurred while opening one or more files
The file format plugin for the specified format was not properly initialized.could anyone please help me? also when i press setails it shows me this – File C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 – Modern Warfare\main\screenshots\shot0001.tga could not be opened.

Do you have anywhere you could put up a few of these frames (full size please) for us to look at?

I no longer have Vegas 6 but I dropped them on both a Vegas 7 & 8 timeline and they worked OK for me.
Allen might be onto something with the long file name.
Try creating a new folder somewhere else with a much shorter path.
