Vegas Crossfade Lag
Never had any lag issues in Vegas. Preview has always worked normally. I haven’t changed any settings or anything to my PC, but all of a sudden my preview window lags horribly whenever I’m playing back something that fades into something else.
Doesn’t happen any other time. The clips play fine, but as soon as something fades everything lags up and gets choppy in the preview.
I’m confused why this randomly started happening, what’s causing it, and how to fix it :S

I can’t tell you what is causing it but I can tell you that something must have changed on your PC to cause it. Did you apply any Microsoft updates recently? Maybe they updated your graphics drivers without you knowing it? Something had to change to start causing this. A graphics driver is the most probable cause.

This sometimes happens with some users, and the culprit most often is
the graphics card/Display driver being automatically updated.
So im almost certain that is what has happened to you, so double check on
that, and if it is so, you can easily roll back the driver.Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)
