Quick question. I was filming in front of my green screen and in my video I poured a drink. Well the drink was green and I didnt think of that befor I poured it. You can guess what happened. So..is there a way in Sony Vegas to still maintain the drink after applying the chroma key? Or do I pretty much have to reshoot the video? Thanks for your help!

As Scotty is drinking the alien under the table, the alien asks:
    “What is it?”
    Scotty replies:
    “I don’t know. but it’s green”.

I just did a greenscreen shot last week where the talent is talking about his book. And he holds the book up in front of him. And the title is in large green text.

Now I see the background through the title of the book.

The solution was to create a small green rectangle between my subject and the background. I Used event pan/crop and keyframes to keep the green rectangle behind the book.

    Here’s how I did it:

As Steve said, you’re going to have to create a garbage matte that follows the drink if it moves. You can duplicate the track and use the Mask tool in Pan/Crop to make the drink reappear.
