Vegas and Decklink
Can anyone relate their experience with Vegas and the Decklink cards? Is it sluggish with the uncompressed video? I’m considering building a Vegas system but need it to interface with a Beta SP machine, so I figure this is one of the only ways to go.

bottom line is CPU speed and hard drives speed (constant read/write) ..
the more streams of video you want = you might look into a hard ware raid using either 2 ATA’s or SATA drives …
if you are using V6 it will take advantage of dual CPU & dual core cpu’s !!!
