I’m pretty new to Vegas and have some footage shot on pd100e with an anamorphic lens, so 4:3 to output to 16:9. Can someone give me some pointers about how I achieve this?. Eg what pixel aspect ratio to set for both clip and project and what to render as, do I need to check the stretch to fill frame box etc. I’ve tried all sorts of combinations and can’t seem to get the desired effect a nice 16:9 DVD. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try this: Create a 16:9 project, drop the 4:3 footage on the timeline, open Pan/Crop, and then right-click and choose Match Output Aspect.
