    if we take a clip from lets say premier thats -12db, render it, its still -12db we bring that into vegas and as soon as we drop it on the time line it add +4db, its doing this with other clips as well is their anyway to fixing this in the settings, i could not find anyway of doing it. besides adjusting the audio was looking for something more perminate.

    +4dB according to what or relative to what or measured in what? When you render the file out and compare it with the original in Premiere? I have seen oddness like this transferring from app to app (or platform to platform), but I can’t tell what’s going on here.

    I suppose a manual solution is to just insert all these clips into the same track and bump the track level down -4dB? Not automatic and I’m sure you figured this out already, but it’ll work.
