Vegas 9b freezing and shutting down

Internet speed shouldn’t have anything to do with Vegas crashing. First thing I’d do is upgrade to Vegas 9.0c.

Did you have the same problem as me before you upgrade to 9c? I am using Windows Vista Home Premium operating system. Maybe Window XP is better to use?

Vista Home Premium is fine as an OS.
In your first post, you said you were using Vegas movie so I’m assuming you mean Vegas Movie Studio in which case 9.0b is the newest update.
Anytime you’re using Vegas, it’s always a good idea to disable any unnecessary tasks which means internet, anti-virus, etc. as these will (not might, will) have an adverse affect on proper operation during editing.
