Vegas 9.0c Will Not Render

If someone can tell me how to downgrade back to 9.0b or 9.0, let me know.

Uninstall 9.0c and install 9.0b. The trick is to uninstall the newer version first.

So, until someone can tell me how to reconfigure my computer to run Vegas, and access all 4GB of my memory, I may have to abandon it until I can have the computer rebuilt and loaded with WIN 7 and running 64bit and accessing ALL my memory.

Did you try setting the rendering threads down to 1? Did that help? When you go into the Windows Task Manager, how much memory does it say is free?

‘I’m about to give up on Vegas. I don’t buy the “running low on memory” any more. I upgraded to 9.0c in hopes I could render more than 30 minutes before I get this message of running low on memory because now it will only render 2 minutes before I now get the “running low on memory” error.’

Never give up when you are so close to the finish…

Did you try network rendering? Even if there is no network available for rendering, selecting this option (in the render tab) usually avoids the low memory error message, resulting in a normal rendering process.
